 Muara Port - Brunei  Web site. Muara Port - Brunei was opened for 
  commercial operations in February 1973, and commissioned as the Ports 
  Department on 1st. May 1974. The Ports Department took over the whole 
  management and operations of all the Ports on 1st. January 1986, from the 
  Royal Customs and Excise Department. 
  The Port management through it's strong commitment towards building a 
  customer oriented service industry, has taken many positive steps in the 
  right direction to satisfy the Port Users. This commitment complemented 
  by massive investment in new modern equipment and infrastructure, has 
  enabled to continue improvements on performance standards. 
  The facilities available at the Multi-Purpose Berth at present, are 
  capable of servicing Conventional Cargo Carriers, Self-sustained Container 
  Carriers, and Ro-Ro Car-Carriers which usually ply the trade routes in 
  this region. 
  The access to the commercial berth is through a dredged canal 2.6 km. long 
  and which could accomodate Vessels with a maximum darught of 9.5 metres. 
  The depth alonside is 10 metres, and is capable of accomodating second 
  generation Containerised Vessels. 
  The Berth planning unit provides a scheme whereby Mother/Feeder Vessels 
  are given priority services to meet their critical shipping schedules. 
  This scheme is further extended to cover Vessels having fixed-day sailing 
  schedules from/to Singapore and the EAGA region.

  Port of Mumbai has long been the principal gateway of India. Over the years 
  it has played a dominant role in developing the country's trade and commerce.

  harbour providing ample shelter for shipping throughout the year. There are 
  three enclosed wet docks namely Indira, Prince's and Victoria Docks. For

  Dweep an Island in the Mumbai harbour. Chemicals and Products are also 
  handled at Pir Pau. The port, during its long chequered history of over 
  126 years, has been called upon to handle all types of cargo--handling upto 
  approximately one sixth of the total sea-borne trade of the country.

Mundra Port
 Mundra Port - India Web site. Mundra is located in the Gulf of Kutchch on 
  the Western Coast of India at 22°44.4’24”N. and 69°47.2’13”E.
  Mundra Port is strategically located as India’s natural gateway to the 
  West. It is the nearest deep water Indian port for the vast landlocked

Nagoya Port
 Nagoya Port - Japan Web site. The Port of Nagoya took its first step as 
  an international port when it opened on November 10, 1907. It has grown 
  steadily since that time, and now encompasses a huge water area of 4,000 ha. 
  The Port of Nagoya plays a major role as a point of entry to Japan, through 
  its connections with some 150 countries and regions around the world. The 
  Port of Nagoya now has sister/friendship affiliations with the Ports of Los 
  Angeles, Antwerp, Baltimore and Fremantle.

New Mangalore Port
 New Mangalore Port Trust - India Web site. New Mangalore Port is a 
  modern all-weather port situated at Panambur, Mangalore (Karnataka 
  State in South India), on the West Coast of India, 170 nautical 
  miles South of Mormugao & 191 nautical miles North of Cochin Port.
  The location of the Port is at Latitude 12°12'46.6" North, 
  Longitude 74°48'27.56" East. Berth facilities are as follows:
  Berth No.1: processes Gen.cargo, berth has depth 7.0 meters and
  overall length 125 meters with vessel dwt capacity 4,000 tonnes. 
  Berth No.2: processes Gen.cargo, berth has depth 10.50 meters and
  overall length 198 meters with vessel dwt capacity 30,000 tonnes.

Penang Port Commission
 Penang Port Commission - Malaysia Web site. The Port of Penang has 
  long been regarded as one of the foremost centres of commerce in 
  the South East Asian region. Its strategic location on the west 
  coast of Peninsular Malaysia along the Straits of Malacca made it 
  an ideal logistic center.
  Penang Port's all weather facilities with an annual capacity to 
  handle 25 million tonnes of cargo are situated on both the island

Pipavav Port
 Pipavav Port - India Web site. The Port of Pipavav is located at Latitude 
  20°54'N and Longitude 71°30'E on the West Coast of India in 
  the Saurashtra region of the state of Gujarat at a distance of 
  about 140 kms. South-West of Bhavanagar. 
  Berthing facilities consist of three dry cargo berths and one LPG/
  Liquid cargo berth. The three dry cargo berths consist of a single 
  length jetty of 725 meters, equipped to handle bulk, break bulk and 
  containers. The fourth berth is an exclusive LPG/liquid cargo berth 
  where ships of 3,000 DWT to 45,000 DWT can be directly berthed. 
  This berth is linked to the mainland through a bund, which supports 
  a 24-line pipe rack along with a road running parallel to the rack 
  for maintenance.
  Since the commencement of operations, the Port has been handling 
  cargo such as Containers, LPG, Rock Phosphate, Coal, Cement, 
  Fertilisers, Cement, Clinker, De-Oil Cakes, and Molasses.

Port Klang Authority
 Port Klang Authority - Malaysia Web site. Port Klang is situated on 
  the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia, about 40 km from the capital 
  city, Kuala Lumpur. Its proximity to the greater Klang Valley - the

Port Zayed
 Port Zayed - Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. Web site. Abu Dhabi Sea Port Authority.
  The World's Gateway To The Middle East. With over two decades of 
  remarkable progress, Port Zayed is among the region's leading 
  ports providing the most modern and comprehensive facilities and 
  services. 
  Operated by the Abu Dhabi Seaport Authority, Port Zayed is the 
  primary reason for Abu Dhabi's attraction as an ideal base for 
  manufacturers and trading companies.
  The Port has 13 general cargo berths with a total quay length of 
  3,38O meters and a depth of 13 to 15 meters alongside the quay.
  The facilities for cargo storage are excellent - the paved storage 
  space has an area of over a million sq. meters, while warehouses 
  and sheds cover an area of 138,230 sq. meters.
  Additional facilities include space for break bulk cargoe, timber, 
  machinery, vehicles and building material; a 60,000 tonne grain 
  silo; bunkering services by barges; and a 5250 square meter shed 
  for sea-air cargo.
  Port Zayed has constructed one of the finest and largest container 
  complexes in the region.
  The 41- hectares terminal is supplied with an automated 
  documentation system and can accomodate 15000 TEUS at any given 
  time. 
  4 Deepwater berths-of which two are 15m deep and the other two are 
  13m deep total length of around 1000 meters.
  Adjacent to the terminal berths, is a purpose built Roro ramp 
  200 meters long and 10.5 meters quay depth and a 14,580 sq.m 
  Container Freight Station.

Pusan (Busan) Port
 Busan (Pusan) Port - Korea Web site. The southern port of Busan (Pusan) 
  advertises container terminals and conventional cargo piers. 
  Cargoes are  handed mostly in container boxes in the port. There 
  are four container terminals in the North Harbor consisting of 
  Jasungdae, Shinsundae, Uam and Gamman. Two Hanjin container berths 
  in Gamchun Harbor have also been in operation since November, 1997.
  Pier 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, and Central Pier are conventional piers in 
  North Harbor. Pier 1 and Pier 2 are run by government and the rest 
  is operated by private companies. Among the cargo handled in 
  conventional piers, approximately 80% is containers and the rest 
  is general cargo.
